Ken Evans, 76 of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away on November 15, 2019, at home with his family.
He was born on October 20, 1943, in Montebello, California. Ken married Mikki Werner in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 5, 1963. He was the father of three children, Tamara, Carol, and Kenny.
Ken was a Union Journeyman Carpenter, building commercial high rises in Century City, California, and many famous hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada. He loved sports, especially golf, and enjoyed boating, and coaching his son's athletic teams. His favorite pastime was sitting on the patio for hours, watching nature with a beer or wine in hand. Ken was a very caring and sensitive person, who had a strong sense of fair play. He could be funny and ornery at the same time. To know him was to love him. Ken and Mikki recently celebrated their 56th Anniversary.
Ken is survived by his wife, Mikki; children, Tamara, and Kenny and his wife Cheri; grandsons, Derek and Steven; sister, Linda and her husband Jerry.
Please join the family as they gather to remember Ken, on Sunday, November 24, 2019, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m., at River Bottoms Brewery, Carrollton, Missouri.
