City of Carrollton issued the following announcement on March 4.
On November 6, 2018, the Town of Carrollton voted to pass a ¾ cent sales tax to construct, equip, improve and operate a new Aquatic Center. Planning has begun for the new Aquatic Center and there are several opportunities to submit your ideas and to tell us about your swimming needs.
We welcome you to the new Aquatic Center Open House on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Rupe Center. Join the conversation and talk with project team members, including the engineering and design team Waters Edge Aquatic Design, to learn about the project and to discuss your swimming ideas and preferences. This is an open format and you are welcome to come and go throughout the Open House. Computers will be available to complete the online community survey, which will be used to analyze the aquatic needs and wants of the community.
If you are unable to attend the meeting or would prefer to submit comments online, an online survey is available for you to complete. The online survey will take about 10 minutes and will be available through March 20, 2019. All community members are welcome and encouraged to submit their feedback.
Day: Thursday, March 14
Time: 6 – 8 p.m.
Location: Rupe Center at 710 Harvest Hills Drive, Carrollton, MO
